Two people on a journey to seek inspiration by dedicating every friday for a whole year to stimulate themselves and create a positive atmosphere for others!

48 Days

The journey to inspiration...

[4/48]

We started reading “8 Minute Meditation”, it’s an eight week program.
In the program you have to meditate 8 minutes a day, 7 days a
week, for 8 weeks. The book is written by Victor Davich, it’s simple
and straight forward. By the end of the first part and the start of
the actual program you have to make a pledge, and so here is our
pledge. We will tell you about the results in 8 weeks ;)

Btw, this doesn’t mean that we’ll stop doing things for the next weeks!

Top Quotes:

- “Porthos dreams of being a bear, and you want to shatter those dreams by saying he’s just a dog? What a horrible candle-snuffing word. That’s like saying, “He can’t climb that mountain, he’s just a man”, or “That’s not a diamond, it’s just a rock.” Just.”

- “He imagines life the way he wants it to be and he believes in it long enough and hard enough that it appears before him.”

- “You find a glimmer of happiness in this world, there is always someone who wants to destroy it.”

- “People watch you and they will look for ways to drag you down.”

- “It’s like the ticking crocodile, isn’t it? Time is chasing after all of us.”

The Lessons:

- Inspiration is everywhere, with a little imagination.

- Never let doubt stand on your way.

- Only the genus can see genus in making.

-  Even if you failed once or twice.. Never give up it might lead you somewhere better.

- Imagination can take you anywhere.

For this week, we had to watch a movie and pick our top 5 lessons and sayings. We did it separately but combined the results. After a really long debate on what to watch, we picked Finding Neverland. The movie stars Johnny Depp and Kate Winslet. A beautiful movie, we recommend you all to watch it!!

Finding Neverland is a 2004 semi-biographical film about playwright J. M. Barrie and his relationship with a family who inspired him to create Peter Pan. The movie was amazing, and carried so many lessons.

We’re planning on watching an inspiring movie this week, any suggestions?

-The first picture isn’t a very good quality picture because the stairs were very dark and we had to use the flash.

-The second picture isn’t very good too because we were in the elevator and we were trying to take a photo of the origami before anyone sees us!

This week..

What we did this week is Origami, yaay! Then we attached a quote to each shape.

Here is the catch, those origami shapes we made were distributed all over our university. Shhh, it’s our little secret!

This week we tried to capture a paint splash. But obviously we failed! It’s okay, we’ll try again and we’ll get it right next time!
